appeal to the masses

i am ready to move! really REALLY ready. its crazy how much having a child changes things. i dont mean everyday life functions, although a baby changes those. i mean mentally, emotionally. my thought process has changed. the things i look for and desire are completetly different. and the little flat just doesnt cut it anymore. I love that we share a room, so the one bedroom is totally fine. but i want a back yard for eleri to play in. a nice neighbourhood street for her to ride her bike down, space to play, crawl, walk, a kitchen table so we dont have to eat on the couch. and i dont feel like these are unreasonable requests. but they are requests that can never be realised as long as we stay in the second most expensive city in the world.

its time to move.

and when it comes down to it, you really get more for your money in america. thats just how it goes. the pound may be worth a lot more than the dollar, but you can do a lot more with the dollar in america than you can do with the pound in the uk. and so its time to move. hopefully to america.

so this is where you all come in. we need jobs. we need a kitchen table, but i suppose the job has to come first. so blog friends and real friends if you know of anything, or have some great connection or even just a good idea, let me know please. our little family is ready for a change!

So what are you guys looking for? If you could do exactly what you wanted to do, work wise that is, what would it be? What would be the perfect job for rhys or yourself, if and when you go back?
Jake and Heidi did this thing on their wall and i decided to do it too, but it's a vision board. I put up scriptures, inspirational quotes and then just declarations of how God was able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than I ever could hope, think or imagine and every morning I see that board and I read it outloud and just declare those things that I desire in my heart and I ask for the BEST... the very best, because as His daughter He wants to give me His best and He has plans to prosper you and give you a hope and a future... and wherever He is leading you guys He will work ALL things out for your good!
Jake lost his job last month and they felt like the Lord was telling them to start their own company and in this economy that is bizarre, but right after that a tornado hit in ft. smith in a neighborhood that he knew 6 couples and they all need roof work done now... and day by day God has provided sooo much more than they need! And it started by stepping out and then just declaring and believing for what God had put in their hearts!
So back to that first question... what is that you would love to do and where is that you guys want to move? I will definitely keep my ears open down here in D-town!!

I'll keep my ear out for jobs for you guys, though. Are you still coming back this Winter? I'm really lookin forward to having long lost friend and baby time together!!! Love you!

Yeah I have no wisdom on jobs Kristina, as I am unemployed, but I love your friend's Vision Board. I think I'm gonna do it.
